  What are the Main Risks...(Porter)
Juan Manuel Ugarte, Mexico
"After the paper written by Kramer and Porter, there is a missing ingredient "on competition"; the evolution of international organizations to only one super organization, the G-20, and the combination with the evolution of market information. This situation is being combined wih the reduced capacity of local governments to implement economic and financial policies (reduced degrees of freedom to do so derived by the international leadership of the G-20)
Another condition has also emerged from the new leaders on the international trade: China, India and Brasil are supported by a huge amount of underpaid labor as well as people living below the minimun living standards.
It seems that in recent years the cost leadership has been based on these conditions.
Differentiation and focus imply other types of analysis on technology and management and must consider salaries and living standards."
