"I am looking for suggestions on the best methods for mapping Bulk Commodity Supply Chains.
I am trying to map some Coal and Iron Ore Bulk Commodity Supply Chains (BCSC) from mine to market to identify the critical constraints and determine if additional capital infrastructure is required or if indeed the issue is a non-infrastructure constraint such as a policy or regulatory failure.
Any suggestions on what has worked well for mapping e.g. SCOR, Value Stream Mapping, TOC etc.
Also what simulation and optimisation software have people found best optimises the total BCSC e.g. Arena?"
