I believe that management is not a dead block of rules.
Management is a living organism.
It breaths, eats, drinks and grows.
Which means that what we believe today, may be wrong tomorrow, some people may think that we reached the maximum development we can do in science.
Believe me, we are just on the beach trying to learn how to swim, we still have a whole ocean to discover.

Following your logic organizations therefore mature, reach old age and die this setting the stage for change and rebirth.

Hi Mohamed, you views appear to be similar to those of Margaret Wheatley in her book "Leadership and the New Science" (1999). My questions is that do you mean management or leadership. I think there is a difference. Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things (Peter Drucker). I particularly like her idea of the capacity of life for change.

I would rather say an organisation is a living organism. The management aspect is the sensory nerves of the organisation as through these nerves the organisation reacts to its environment and it is this reaction that causes the need to change. This sensory system contributes to the survival of this organism (the organisation) as such change is dynamic in nature.
