Looking at the comments on succession planning (SP) there is agreement on the need for it.
I am looking for some examples of SP. Does anyone know a successful example or case?

Get all personnel holding key positions to identify their successors as part of their KPIs under the topic of leadership / scarce skills sustainability.
The criticality and risk (low, medium or high) of the position should determine the weighting allocated.
Lastly, the supply demand balance should also come into the equation.
