Definition Personal Belief Bias. Description.
Personal Belief Bias is the human tendency to base assessments
on personal beliefs. Human beings reject valid arguments with unbelievable
conclusions, and endorse invalid arguments with believable conclusions. It
seems that instead of following directions and assessing logical validity,
they sometimes base their assessments on personal beliefs.
This type of Cognitive Bias is particularly relevant for strategists
and leaders.
