Definition of Logistics "What is logistics really? We say movement of anything is logistics, it is not restricted to goods, and information.
So, can I call rotation of a fan 'logistics', or the movement of my jaws when I speak, is that 'logistics'?
Please clarify my doubt though it looks silly. I will be thankful." |
|
Logistics Planning versus Quality Assurance "Please advice whether the planning and logistics department in a pharmaceutical factory should have the upper hand on the production, or the quality department.
For example:
- When the logistics department issues a production plan schedule.. Should this plan be revised and approved by the quality assurance department and does the QA have the right to change or modify the production schedule?
- Also, does the QA manager have the right to review the production plan compared to the sales forecast and evaluate them or it is the logistics task?" |
|
ILS Logistics Support Model "I'm seeking a simple ILS - TLS inventory through to operational logistics support model.
To use within an internal team to challenge the subject matter experts.
Does any one know of a model that is readily available?" |
